"Sometimes I think about my parents when I’m making art. It’s a healing thing. Art is sanity. Art is healing. While I’m healing my soul with lines, and color, and movement, I’m healing theirs too."
Fálki Heiðdóttir
I sat with Fálki over tea in her Island Falls home last week, talking as the cold morning hinted at spring. Her life—rooted in adventure, trust, and deep creativity—left me in awe. She moves through change with authenticity, guided by the unseen but deeply felt, helping others do the same. Listen above!

Fálki and I are coming together to offer The Sacred Flame: Healing Art & Somatic Movement Retreat for Transformation and Creative Renewal
Join us for a deeply nourishing retreat at Sewall House in the stunning landscape of Island Falls, Maine. Over five days, we will move, create, and reflect—shedding what no longer serves us and kindling new creative energy.
Each day unfolds with meditation, yoga, somatic movement, and art-making, guiding you through a process of release, renewal, and intention-setting. Through book arts, journaling, and nature-inspired practices, you’ll craft a personal talisman of transformation to take home.
This retreat is for you if you’re ready to:
*Let go of old narratives and embrace change
*Reconnect with your creative self in a supportive space
*Move through transformation with somatic movement and breath work
*Slow down and connect in a serene, nature-filled setting
All participants receive a complimentary intuitive guidance session with Fálki.
Visit the Sewall House to see a full schedule, learn more about the Sewall House and its rich history and reserve your spot.
