I'm so glad I found your tutorials! Being new to painting watercolor, it's a great feeling to be pleased with my amature attempt at recreating your lovely art. Thank you!

I’m an absolute beginner. Love this and want to give it a go. The techniques you mention such as dry brush and wet on wet? Can you expand a little or maybe I need to get right back to basics to start? Thank you

Hi Lainie,

Normally, I guide you with my voice and describe everything more. Internet issues interfered with my usual process. Hopefully, next Friday is back to usual!

*Wet on wet is when you wet your page and then apply wet paint.

*Dry brush is when your brush isn’t wet at all and your paper isn’t either (you can get great texture this way).

*Dry on wet is dry brush on wet paper.

It’s definitely easier to understand in some of my other tutorials because I guide you with my voice too. That way you’re seeing and hearing. If you’re a beginner (which is no problem) it may help! I hope to see your owl!🫶🏼
