There is so much inspiration and invitation in this message. One of the thoughts that emerges in many writings is the idea of becoming one's self. My belief is that there is no "one" "self" to discover but a constantly evolving self - which is no less unique for continually changing. It is not a search for some static entity but a moving mystery. Faithfulness is to the willingness to unfold. Char, your intuition/experience and your intentional risktaking while feeling tentative is a dynamic we can support in each other. It has elements of faith, hope and love. Thank you!

I love how you’ve written this idea of an ever-evolving self, not one self to discover…rather an act of accepting who we are in each moment and willing to embrace and meet this person, always.

The “Moving Mystery”, so wonderful! Thank you, Betty🫶🏼

The references scattered through the post about the moment of emergence after the silent growing, the flying your own way while others watch… it all underscores for me just how special it is to be truly known by someone else, to really be connected, to share life and self rather than living life simply in proximity. By the way, Charlene, I think if I had a space where the walls were covered in your work, it would be where I would go to quiet my mind and steady my heart.
