This is how remembering my wild heart happens for me-I’ll start thinking about a creative something that I want to do again and then it will take me a varying length of time to getting around to finally doing it. Most recently, this has been my experience with both stitching and bookmaking. I forgot how much I love both. This week has been full of bookmaking, both teaching it and making my own. Here’s a few in progress.
Slip Knot Stitch. This one feels so great to hold, small and chunky!
.
Old book found in the barn when we moved to Maine.
French link stitch with plantable wildflower paper. Can’t wait to bury this one in the Spring!

Having multiple creative outlets has worked both for and against me. A few seems to be enough to keep interest high and my curiosity and growth constantly flowing. What about you? Do you find multiple creative outlets inspire and motivate you or overwhelm and exhaust you? Send a comment, I would love to hear your thoughts!
The last short clip (with music!) was a page created early in the week…I love to see art change with my moods.
Till next time,
Char xxx
